Your wedding day should feel like YOU - crazy concept, right?

To me, there’s something incredibly romantic about choosing a wedding day that feels less like following a checklist and more like creating an experience that is completely, unapologetically yours.

Maybe that means exchanging vows along the California coast, hiking through the mountains at sunrise, or hopping on a plane to somewhere like Greece or Italy just because you can.

Let's Make It an Adventure!

Your wedding day doesn't have to be about fitting into a tradition. It gets to be about you two — the places you love, the things you love doing together, and the memories you want to make along the way.

If I'm getting the feeling that you’d rather spend your wedding day soaking in an incredible view than making small talk with 150 people...

That you value quality time over a packed timeline...

That you'd happily trade a ballroom for a mountain, a beach, a vineyard, or somewhere completely off the beaten path...

And that you have a little (or a lot of) adventure in you...

I think we're going to get along really well.

I’m here to help you create a day that feels intentional, adventurous, romantic, and completely true to your relationship — and then document all the beautiful, in-between moments so you can relive them for years to come!

Hike to a Waterfall

The ultimate elopement adventure! Ya girl is down to hike anywhere, especially when there is a waterfall or lake in the mix. Let's do it!

The best part about eloping is there are no rules. Dream big!

And if your dream elopement involves a passport? Even better. California is home, but I'm always happy to follow my couples wherever their adventure takes them.

Imagine this being your wedding day...

My Elopement Photography Appraoch

The photos aren't the event. They're the way you remember the event.

To me, elopement photography is about the experience first.

Yes, we're going to create some incredible photos along the way — that's a given! But instead of thinking about your day like it's an 8 hour long photoshoot, I want you to plan your dream day, and know that a photographer will happen to be there to document it.

When it comes time for posed portraits, I'll absolutely step in and give a ton of posing guidance so that you never feel awkward. But I also love creating space for the two of you to soak up the day together naturally!

Remember - the goal isn't to create a day that looks good in photos. It's to create a day that feels amazing in real life — and then make sure you have the photographs to remember exactly how it felt.

Jennifer is an absolutely amazing photographer! I'm so pleased and happy how our pictures came out. Jennifer made us feel so comfortable and so natural, time flew by because we were having a good time and therefore I believe that's the reason why our photos came out naturally beautiful. I would definitely book her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer. She made my experience a memory that I will never forget.

Jennifer is the BEST. Not only is she a very talented photographer, but she is also extremely kind, thoughtful, organized, and has such a calming presence. She makes you feel confident, relaxed and heard when you're having your photos taken. She really does a wonderful job of listening to and working with your vision, logistics and any special requests. You can tell she is focused on capturing your authentic reactions, emotions, and all the special moments throughout the day. I am so glad I hired her.

Jennifer's positive, kind, and easy going personality helped to bring a sense of calm to our day and we felt 100% confident that Jennifer would capture our day beautifully! We also really appreciated how thorough she was when making a timeline for the day so that we could share this information with our families! Jennifer was also incredibly flexible and accommodated changes in schedule with a smile. We really loved working with Jennifer and look forward to working with her to capture our future milestones! Thank you so much Jennifer!!!

Location Planning

When you hire me, you're not only hiring a photographer but also a planner! Luckily, I'm super type A and love to come up with a plan for the day on how to hit all your desired locations with time to spare. Just tell me your vision and I'll do the research!

Timeline Building

I've photographed enough elopements to know all the logistics and tricks to making the day run smoothly. That's why I'll work with you to craft the perfect timeline for your day.

Posing Guidance

So you never have to worry about looking "awkward" or not knowing what to do in the photos. I'm here to direct you, while also giving you the space to be yourselves.

Online, Password-Protected Gallery

Your final gallery will be in delivered 8-10 weeks. It will be password protected and include all of your high-resolution, edited images - ready to be easily downloaded and shared with friends.

Sneak Peek Gallery

This online gallery of 50+ edited photos is delivered within a week past the elopement date, because I know you'll be dying to see the photos and share them with your friends and family ASAP!

Questionnaire

I love to send a detailed questionnaire to my elopement clients. This deeply helps me to better understand your vision for the day as well as logistics such as when your hair & makeup should be done.

Multiple Video Calls

Emails are so impersonal! I like to dive deeper by having multiple video calls throughout this process. An initial consultation call is necessary before you book to go over your vision for the day and make sure we're a good fit. Once I've done my research and come up with a great plan, we can have another call to go over the timeline & logistics.

Champagne + Polaroids

My two favorite things! I bring a bottle of champagne for you two to pop, spray, and sip on. It's such a fun way to cap off the celebration! I also love to snap some polaroids throughout the day, and gift them back to you as a thank you for trusting in me to capture your day.

Printing Rights

This allows you to print your photos, share them on your social media, create beautiful photo albums, and more!

Multi-Day

For the couples who want to turn their elopement into a full-on adventure.

With 12 hours split across two days, you have the freedom to slow down and experience your destination instead of trying to fit everything into one timeline. Think sunrise vows one day and a sunset adventure the next, or a mix of hiking, exploring, relaxing, and celebrating. You choose how to split the hours — I'll be there to document it all.

For the couples who want their wedding day to feel like an experience, not a photoshoot.

Eight hours gives us plenty of room for the good stuff — getting ready, first look, exploring somewhere beautiful, your ceremony, portraits, activities, and all the spontaneous moments in between. This is the sweet spot for couples who want a full, unhurried day without needing multiple days of coverage.

2. Let's dream big together

During our initial call, I encourage you to tell me all about the locations you're considering, any activities you might want to include, and most importantly how you want to FEEL on your elopement day! What is your dream day? We can brainstorm together how to best make it happen.

5. The big day is here!

On the actual elopement date, it's my priority to make you feel comfortable and connected. When it's time for posed photos, I give a ton of guidance in a way that ensures you'll never feel awkward. I also create space for you two to be present and enjoy your day - your elopement day is about so much more than just photos!

6. Relive it all, again & again

Afterwards, I get straight to work on editing. I send a Sneak Peek gallery within a week to ensure you can admire & share some images ASAP. FAQ

Do you travel?

Definitely! Traveling is one of my biggest passions, so I'm happy to jump on a plane wherever you feel drawn to. Travel fees vary from place to place, so I can inform you of that after you let me know where you're thinking!

Are travel fees included in the price?

Travel fees are not included in the price. Please let me know where you're planning on eloping so I can give you an accurate quote for travel.

Can we bring friends/family?

Absolutely! Elopements can include a few of your favorite people if that's what feels right for you. That said, I do recommend keeping your guest list intimate — somewhere around 5–10 loved ones is a great sweet spot for an elopement experience. More guests can change the logistics and feel of the day, so if you're planning to bring more than 10 people, just let me know when you inquire so we can make sure your plans and location are a good fit.

What about the weather?

While I understand weather can be a big concern, I'd encourage you to embrace it! Some of my favorite elopement photos happen when the weather isn't perfectly sunny and predictable. Fog rolling through the mountains, dramatic clouds, even rain — these things can add so much atmosphere, emotion, and personality to your photographs (and experience to your day)!

We'll look at the forecast, talk through our options, and make a plan that still allows you to have an amazing experience. Sometimes that means embracing the weather exactly as it is, shifting our timeline, finding a nearby backup location, or waiting out a passing storm.

That said, your safety always comes first. If we mutually decide that your elopement needs to be rescheduled because of unsafe conditions, we'll work together to find a new date. Please keep in mind that your permits, hair and makeup artist, accommodations, and other vendors may not be available on a new date.

Do you help us choose a location?

Absolutely! Most of my couples come to me with a general area, destination, or vibe in mind, but aren't quite sure where to go from there — and that's where I come in.

Maybe you know you love Carmel and want to exchange vows on the beach, but you have no idea which beach, what time of day would be best, or what else you should do with the rest of your day. Or maybe all you know is that you want mountains, ocean views, and an adventure.

I'll do the research, help you narrow down your options, and make recommendations based on the experience you're dreaming up. Then we'll choose the locations that feel the most you together.

And if you're dreaming of somewhere I've never photographed before? Even better. I love researching new places and discovering beautiful locations, and I'm always up for an adventure!
